Condolence: The good doctor was also a friend. He saved my wife's life with an accurate diagnosis. He made a great presentation to my Senior Biology class at F-M H.S. I enjoyed visiting him after we moved to TN. I miss him.

Condolence: My wife and I were patients of Dr. Hemmerlein for many years. I taught Biology at F-M High School and John made a presentation to my students. I credit him with saving my wife's life by diagnosing a potentially deadly illness. A loving and excellent doctor.

Condolence: My condolences to Dr. Hemmerlein's family. He was my family doctor from a wee little kid and well into being an adult. Excellent doctor and he had an excellent bedside manner. Very few Docs nowadays want to answer questions or be questioned. Dr. Hemmerlein was very helpful and he will be missed.

Condolence: I know you don't know me but I am very sorry to hear of Johns passing. I went to school with him and in my yearbook he wrote "Remember me if you can, and when remembering becomes a task - forget me".
Because of that I never did forget him.
