Obituary for Donald Cacciola

Donald Cacciola, 64, of Manlius, NY and Charlotte, NC, loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather, passed away on Monday, July 20th, Donald was a 1969 graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School. Donald retired from New Venture Gear in 2002 after 30 years of service. Donald was a loyal New York Yankees and Syracuse sports fan. Donald was an automobile and card enthusiast. Donald most enjoyed spending time entertaining his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Darlene (Heagle) Cacciola; his son, Jared Cacciola; daughter-in-law, Hilary (Blasland) Cacciola; granddaughter, Grace Cacciola; two sisters, Mary-Jean Tucci of Charlotte, NC and Barbara Sauve of Liverpool; brother, Samuel Cacciola of Brewerton; and sister-in-law, Pat. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald in 1956.
Services will be 12:15 pm Friday, July 24th at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel and 1:00 pm at St. Ann’s Church in Manlius. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday, July 23rd at the funeral home, 8171 Cazenovia Rd. (Rt. 92), Manlius.
