Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Tracy Gillen-Boots can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Tracy Ann Gillen-Boots

Tracy A. Gillen-Boots, 42, of Jamesville, passed away Monday. She was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Richard and Donna Gillen. Tracy graduated from LeMoyne College and was the owner-operator of Gillen, Stickle & Associates for 20 years.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, DeWitt Parks and Recreation Commission, and DeWitt G.O.P. Party.
Tracy enjoyed painting and traveling.
Words cannot express how deeply Tracy will be missed. She has touched many lives through her business connections, various volunteering contributions, and through the many roles she played in her community.
Tracy’s compassion, strength, and loyalty to her friends, family and those who knew her will forever be remembered.
Surviving are: her husband of 8 years, Gregg Boots; daughter, Danielle Boots of Syracuse; son, Casey Boots of Jamesville; brother, Richard Gillen of Oswego; grandchild, Evelyn Moore; nephews, Derek Bivens and Dominic Gillen of Oswego; cousins, Michael Gardella of Staten Island, John Bonacci of Austin, TX; aunt, Joanne Reed; and uncle, John Bonacci.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-7PM at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 East Genesee Street Fayetteville. A funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:30AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James Street, Syracuse. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mararoneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605.
