Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeanette Lamb can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Jeanette R Lamb

Jeanette (Jeanne) Lamb of DeRuyter Lake, NY and Sebastian, FL, age 73, died on October 10, 2015 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY.  Mrs. Lamb was born on December 29, 1941 at Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Orlando and Anna Carlini.
She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and the State University College at Cortland, NY.  Subsequently she earned a Master’s Degree pursuant to studies and Cortland and Niagara University.
Mrs. Lamb taught mathematics at Lewiston Porter High School, North Syracuse High School, Onondaga Community College, and Fayetteville Manlius Schools.  She voluntarily taught mathematics at Immaculate Conception School in Fayetteville, NY.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward J. Lamb: a son Edward J. Lamb (and wife Su) of Princeton, NJ; a son Matthew R. Lamb of DeRuyter Lake; and by granddaughter Kaitlyn Maya Lamb.
Mrs. Lamb is also survived by three sisters – Mary Anne Singer, Port Orange, FL, Frances Finley, Sanborn, NY, and Elaine Carlini-Davis, Ormand Beach, FL; and two brothers Orlando Carlini, DePew, NY and Larry Carlini, Shaker Hieghts, Ohio.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Mrs. Lamb will be at Eaton-Tubbs Funeral Home, 7191 East Genesee St., Fayetteville, NY 13066 from 4PM to 7PM on Wednesday, October 14.  Mrs. Lamb’s funeral Mass will be at 1PM on Thursday, October 15 at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St., DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mrs. Lamb’s local churches at: St. Larwrence of DeRuyter ( c/o Judy Balenski 1672 Cortland St. DeRuyter, NY 13052) and Our Lady of Guadalupe (12896 County Rd. 512 Fellsmere, FL 32948).
