Obituary for Maurice Leonard

Maurice Leonard, 83, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born in New York City on August 24, 1932, the son of the late Thomas F. Leonard and Theresa V. Phelan Leonard. He retired as a guard from the New York State Armory in Syracuse, New York.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jacqueline Mary Silva Leonard; children, Thomas Leonard and Michaell Leonard both of Bear, DL, William (Angela) Leonard of Somers, NY and Barbara (Matthew) Sturick of East Syracuse; five grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Leonard.
Services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 10th at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
