The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Doughty can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Paul Andrew Doughty

Paul A. Doughty, 28, passed away Thursday November 12, 2015 from a Heroin overdose. He was born in Syracuse, the son of Ronald Doughty and Mary Duck. Paul grew up in the East Syracuse area and graduated from ESM High School and was currently enrolled at OCC.
Paul’s ultimate passion was the Grateful Dead. He also enjoyed snowboarding and drawing and traveling to see the Dead shows. Paul loved being the prankster
Left to grieve his loss are mother, Mary (Jeffrey T.) Duck; father, Ronald (Doreen Bishop); maternal grandmother, Pauline Fitzpatrick; paternal grandparents, Ronald Dee Fritcher Doughty; brother, Joshua Stowe; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paul was predeceased by his paternal grandfather William Fitzpatrick and his maternal great-grandmother, Vee Caputo
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Road, Minoa. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 7 p.m.
