Obituary for Donna B. Peil

Donna Babcock Peil, 83, of East Syracuse passed away Wednesday. Born in Syracuse on April 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Hazel Babcock. Donna graduated from Eastwood High School and Keuka College. She worked at the Minoa Library for 20 years. Donna enjoyed reading, travel and spending time with her family at her home on Oneida Lake.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Peil; daughter, Laura (Robert) Ravera of East Syracuse; three sons, Jeffrey (Nancy Heaslip) of Schenectady, Steven (Charlene) of Cicero and Richard (Ginette) of North Syracuse; eight grandchildren, James, Kathryn and Matthew Peil, Ashley Murfitt and Melissa Peil and Elena, Olivia and Daniel Ravera; and great-grandchild, Cheyenne Williams.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., (corner of Kirkville Rd.) Minoa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Minoa Library, 242 North Main St., Minoa, NY 13116.
