John Joseph  Tyfczynski
John J. Tyfczynski, 90, of Kirkville passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Born in South Kortright, NY, the son of Joseph and Grace Tyfczynski. He married the love of his life, Emily and they were married for 69 years.
Tyffy loved the Dallas Cowboys, going to the Casino and playing scratch-offs. Everyone always wanted to be his horseshoe partner and many people have a two dollar bill to remember him by.
He is predeceased by his wife Emily and his parents Joseph and Grace. Surviving are his daughter, Carol (Warren) Canorro; grandchildren, Colleen (James) Fawcett of Chittenango and John (Kelli) Lewis of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Emily and Olivia Fawcett and Cooper, Sarah and Matthew Lewis; and several nieces.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, April19, from 4-7p.m. at the R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, April 20, at 10a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa
