Obituary for Jeannette S. Reardon

Jeannette S.  Reardon
On a beautiful Spring day, April 20th, Jeannette S. Reardon passed peacefully into the gates of heaven. Born in Syracuse on September 11, 1937, she was the sixth of seven children of the late Aldège and Ida Sauvé. Jeannette worked at Western Electric, Salt City Printing and Freihofer’s Bakery. Jeannette’s family always came first. She enjoyed bingo, bowling in Reardon’s Fun Time League at Fremont Lanes, golfing at Rogues Roost, playing cards with friends, watching SU Basketball and the NY Mets, and especially the Tuesday Night Meeting of the Minds.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bob” in 1991; sister, May DeCoursey; and brothers, Rolland, Robert and Charles Sauvé.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Tom) Franco, Paula (Perry) Martino and Robert (Tonya Boshane) Reardon; grandchildren, Nikki and Sarah Franco, Jackie, Jeff and Mallory Martino, and Makenna, Connor and Kylie Reardon; sisters, Pauline (Joe) Gettino and Alice “Tootsie” (Geno) Ermenio; daughter-in-law, Connie Reardon; sister-in-law, Deanna (Bob Passineau) Sauvé; many loving nieces and nephews and their families; and countless caring friends and neighbors.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Monday at St. Ann’s Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt.
Contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Church or a charity of your choice.
