Obituary for Terrence Edward Croad Sr.

Terrence Edward Croad, Sr., 78, of Syracuse, formerly of Buffalo, entered unto rest at his home on Sunday. He was born in Buffalo on January 28, 1938 and graduated from Erie Co. Technical Institute with an associates degree. Terry was an Electrical Designer with Niagara Mohawk for 28 years having retired in 1994. He was a parishioner of All Saints Church, Syracuse. Terry enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, Syracuse Orange and golf. He served as a Staff Sergeant in 27th Armored Division with the New York National Guard. Terry was predeceased by baby boy Croad as well as his parents, James Ralph Croad and Lydia Leona Huston Croad.
Survivors: His loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Marie Howells Croad; daughter, Nanci Marie (Daniel) Mayo of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Terry (Lori Gilman) of Novi, MI; two sisters, Judy (Chuck) George of Buffalo, NY and Karen (Phil) Doyle of Barrington, IL; two brothers, Richard (Joanne Frandina-deceased) of Williamsville, NY and James (Marsha Mitchell) of Minden, LA; brother-in-law, Thomas (Arlene R. - deceased) Howells of Kenmore, NY; five grandchildren, Aaron (Michelle Burke) Croad, Britini Birt, Michelle Croad, Casey Croad and Zakari Mayo as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 28 between 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 East Genesee Street, Fayetteville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, April 29 at All Saints Church, 1340, Lancaster Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Committal services will follow at 3:00 pm at Marilla Cemetery, Two Rod Road, Marilla, NY
