Obituary for Thomas Matthew Touchette

Thomas Matthew Touchette, 52, of Manlius, who lived with ALS for 23 years, passed away peacefully at home. Tom graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School, North Country Community College and Chaminade University. He was employed by the Touchette Corporation. Tom’s love of family was paramount in his life. He was a competitive athlete in high school and college, especially Lacrosse. He served on the Board of PALS and was an ardent NY Giants, Yankees and Knicks fan.
He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn M.; brother, Michael; niece, Kalah and nephew, Joshua.
He is survived by his father, John J.; siblings, Jacquelyn (Charles) Plumpton, Carolyn (Thomas) Gaulin, Catherine (Craig) Spicer, John (Kathryn), Mary (Michael) Giles, David (Renee), James (Bettina) and Jason (Lisa); sister-in-law, Wendy (Richard) Mackay; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family is deeply grateful for his many caregivers and loyal friends.
Family and friends may call on Friday, May 6th from 9:00 to 10:30 am at St. Ann’s Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius. The funeral Mass will follow the calling hours. Burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.
