Obituary for Jean C. Gaudio

Jean C. Walters Gaudio, 91, of Manlius entered unto rest on Saturday. She was born in Syracuse on December 25, 1924 and graduated from Manlius High School. She was a loving Wife and mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manlius. Jean loved singing the old classics, “busting a move” to the new tunes and going out for ice cream. Even though Alzheimer's stole most of her memory, she still always recognized her loving husband, who stayed by her bedside every day, until his death March 16, 2016.
She is survived his daughter, Lynn Gaudio of Cleveland, OH; son, David Gaudio and his wife, Sharon of Chittenango; granddaughter, Melanie Mittelstaedt of Cleveland, OH; great-granddaughter, Stevie Lynn; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Kathryn Enders, Edna Slentz, Ethel Mueller, Thelma Bandorsky and Shirley Whorrall; and brothers, Roy, Carl, Paul and Frank Walters.
Private burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.
