Obituary for Judith S. Richardson

Judith S. Richardson, 70, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17th at the Syracuse Home Association. Born in Lowville, Judy was the daughter of the late Henry “Bud” and Nancy Payne Richardson. After graduation from Westminster College, she received her Masters degrees from the University of Bridgeport and the University of Connecticut. She began her career as an educator with the Stamford, CT school system in 1968, she was an elementary teacher and became the technology facilitator, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed gardening, painting and keeping in touch with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jane S. Richardson in 2014. She is survived by her family, Betty and John Schlieder, Nancy Boucher, Jim and Andy Schlieder; the Richardson and Mason cousins in Vermont; her beloved dog Blizzy and by many close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 1:00 pm at the United Church of Fayetteville, 310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
