Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Burbank can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Edward Ralph  Burbank
Edward R. Burbank, 61, of Syracuse passed away suddenly Saturday at home. He was born and raised in East Syracuse. After graduating High School Ed proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Ed had an extreme passion for music. If they were playing in Syracuse, Ed was there.
He was always willing to help anyone in need of an extra hand. He was very proud of being sober for over 23 years.
Ed was predeceased by his mother, Theresa and brothers Tommy, Andrew and stepmom Jan. Surviving are his father, Ralph; brother, Jeff (Debbie); sisters Maggie (George) Yenoki, MaryKay (Matt) Nellums, Ellen (Jim) Voodre, Kathy (Bob) Johnson, Ginny Quell; sister-in-law, Margaret Moon; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday at the R.H.Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd. Minoa. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 401 North Main Street, Minoa.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, Friends of Dorothy, a Catholic Worker House 212 Wayne Street Syracuse, NY 13203.
