The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Cunningham can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Hi Grandpa- Not a day goes by that I think about you all the time. As D-Day draws near-it has made me think more about you. This year is more prominent as it’s been 75 years. This year-Richard and I will be visiting the beaches of Normandy in France where D-Day took place. (We’ll be on a 20 day cruise in Europe w/Norwegian Getaway) and we have an all day excursion to the Beaches/Cemetery in Normandy. I wish that you were alive still so that I could tell you all about my personal experience there to a very solemn place that was part of your life and our great history! I Love you sooo much xoxoxo and I miss you lots!!! Love Always—Your Granddaughter 😊💚
