Condolence: It is with shock and great sorrow that I learned of the passing of Joanne (Welch) Moore.
Joanne's family was a central focus of her life. She loved her family, enjoyed their company, and frequently described their activities to her friends. My wife and I send our deepest condolences to Joanne's family and to her many friends and acquaintances.
I have known Joanne for more than 75 years. We both attended Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and St. John the Evangelist High School together, frequently walking to and from school with our other classmates from Eastwood. Throughout her school years, Joanne was active in many activities and events, ranging from elaborate annual Christmas plays, to organized debating competitions during high school, to holding class officer positions, creating an atmosphere of cohesion among our classmates that has resulted in regular class reunions, due in large part to her efforts, over a period of nearly seventy years. Throughout the past several decades, those same efforts have resulted in periodic luncheon meetings she has organized for her classmates who have remained or returned to the Syracuse area.
Joanne's passing results in the loss of her valued friendship, wisdom, and cheerful demeanor for many of us who have had the pleasure of knowing her for many years.

Condolence: Dear Steve, Jeff and Marcie,

I was so saddened to hear that your mother had passed away. I last saw your mother ten years ago and remember thinking she hadn't changed one bit from when we were all growing up in Minoa. What a lovely lady.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

God Bless

Condolence: I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Moore. I fondly remember all the “girls” getting together at various members homes for sewing club. As a child, I don’t remember much sewing getting done as my main concern was all the baked goods that would show up whenever they met at my parents house. They all enjoyed each other’s company and shared many great times together. Joanne was very kind and warm to all that she met. She traveled many bus trips with my
parents. They all had a great time together. May Mrs. Moore Rest In Peace.

Condolence: Marcie, Sal, Sal Jr, and Sam,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of your loss of you wonderful, kind hearted Mom, mother in law and Grandma. We always enjoyed visiting with her when she came to Michigan.
She was a joy to spend time with and I will always cherish our luncheons 'out on the town' followed by of course--shopping! She was a true friend to me and always made me smile!
She loved you so much and always boasted about both Sal Jr and Sam.
We pray that you find love, hope, and healing in all of your wonderful memories of Jo!
