Obituary for Lloyd C. ""Chuck"" Small

Lloyd C. “Chuck” Small, 74, of Minoa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse and worked at Carrier Corp. for 40 years, retiring in 1999. He was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Minoa where he was an altar server for funerals and an Eucharistic minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck loved people and people loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanna Ferrini Small; two sons, Scott A. and fiancée Tina of Brewerton and David J. of Florida; daughter, Tracie Maciag of Chittenango, brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd J. and Vera; and brother, Bill.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, September 13th at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. A funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s at 11:00 am Monday, September 14th followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
