Obituary for Lois Wiegand

Lois Wiegand, 88, formerly of Virginia, passed away on Wednesday. She was a registered nurse having worked for Dr. Rowlingson and Dr. Elliott. She was predeceased by her husband August “Gus” and brother Charles “Bud” Kaplowitz.
Survivors: her children, Fredrick of Virginia, Kathy Taylor of Minnesota, Judi (Tom) Buczkowski of Vermont, Jeffrey of Manlius and Susan (Norm) Carroll of Phoenix; two grandsons; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, CNY Chapter, 441 Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
