Douglas F. Richer
Douglas F. Richer, 73, of Syracuse died on January 31st at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse. Doug was born on February 23, 1942 to Grace and Ted Richer. He is predeceased by a brother, Jack. Doug was well known for his wonderful sense of humor and his artistic abilities as a painter and cartoonist. He enjoyed making many friends at his home at Brighton Hill Apartments.
He is survived by his former wife, Sheila (Ryan) Richer; his son, Doug Richer; and his grandson, Ian Richer.
Family and friends may visit with the family from 9:00 to 11:00 am Saturday at the Valley American Legion, 110 Academy St., Syracuse. A graveside service will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
