The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alice Zion can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for Alice M. Zion

Alice Eggert Zion, age 93, of Kirkville passed away Tuesday November 14th, peacefully with her family at her side. She married Arthur Zion in 1944 and together they raised 9 children.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Art, daughters Susie and Marialice, granddaughter Erin and 7 brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind her children: Art (Mary), Chuck (Ellie), Peter (Diane), John (Diana), Tim (Pam), George (Karen), and Marijane (Don) Warner. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister
Services will be at St Mary’s Church in Minoa Saturday November 18th with calling hours at 10:00 and a mass of celebration at 11:00. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sunnyside Care Center or Minoa Ambulance.
