John was such a positive person with a big heart, and always had something nice to say. John had a willingness to go the extra mile to make someone happy. He enjoyed sending cards to people to acknowledge a kindness or appreciation, and was so very thoughtful in this way. John had the best memory and really liked to share stories of people and events from his past, and he remembered every detail. He was a very special person. I remember how much John would enjoy doing readings at his church, putting on his best suit and being so proud of this part he had in his church, especially during the holidays. John will be missed by all of us who knew him and will be remembered with a big smile.
