Condolence: To Moe's dear family- I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Moe through Gold's gym where we shared stories of hiking, diving, and life. Of course Moe had the most to offer and with the greatest detail! My heart is with all of you.

Condolence: First met Moe at Columbia College, where I was a student of criminal justice and Moe was the teacher. After that, Moe and I would meet while doing our individual grocery shopping at Wegman's in Dewitt, NY. Moe would speak, and I would listen. Mow was a gifted speaker who could hold your interest forever.
Moe was one of the nicest gentlemen I ever met in my life time.
I am looking forward to seeing Moe again, in Heaven, where he now resides, I am sure. He certainly was Heavenly while on Earth.
I send his wife and children my condolences.
The local community has lost a terrifice person!

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family.

I was fortunate to take a course at Columbia College that Moe taught and was also lucky enough to work with him on occasion, throughout the years.

I so much enjoyed listening to his stories about his adventurers of climbing mountains throughout the world.
When he shared the stories of his adventures while doing it with his son, he always had a sparkle in his eyes. He was proud.

He was a gentle and kind man. He will be missed.

Moe, spread your wings....fly and climb.

Condolence: To the Sheedy Family,

It was a privilege to have worked with Mo. As a police officer, he always provided a great perspective, cooperation and creativity that added a little fun to our work. It was a thrill when I attended Columbia College and ran into him as he asked me to speak to his classes. He was always a "go to" guy and made a world of difference. Thank you for sharing him.

Condolence: Diane; To say the least I was shocked to read of Moe's passing. Moe was just the most helpful person to newcomers. I have many fond memories of Moe, as I'm sure many do-the Adirondacks, campfires...etc. Take care of yourself and the family; not sure I'll be able to be there Fri.

Condolence: Ah Moe! I guess we won't make the Appalachian Trail after all and what about that White paper we were going to write about how Conservatives and Liberals need to work together? Oh well...Thanks for all the memories of the past years and the mutual commiseration of growing older.
I guess I'll work on that paper this summer and carry it with me to the High Peaks. Maybe I can show it to you there.
Condolences to all those you left behind. You leave a big gap.

Condolence: On September of 1967 Mo and I went to Cleveland to finish a promise. The promise was to go to a wedding. The wedding took place in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on Sept. 1 of that year. Dena, my bride of nearly 49 years and I asked Mo to be our Best Man. He gladly stepped up an did a great job at the ceremony.

Mo returned to Syracuse, while Dena and I went to Missouri so I could finish my degree. After graduating, we moved back to the Syracuse area, where we stayed until 1972.

A job offering in Syracuse kept us in the area until a better job offer popped up, and we moved to Michigan, where we still live.

Mark, Mo, and I were avid fisherman during our last years together. He was a friend for many years, and Dena and I were saddened to hear of his passing. To his family we sincerely extend our fond memories of Mo and his siblings.

Sincerely,
Dave Launt
