The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Rhoades can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Lt. Roades, Sir

It is not necessary for me to provide a photo, but I will say that I had most pleasant recollections of Lt. Rhoades when I was brought onto the Sheriff's Dept under Sheriff Corbett...No uniform to fit me so I was assigned to Det. Sgt McRobbie to ride and learn untl the very next police academy for formed an instituted under the capable hands of Capt James Muraco.  Lt. Rhoades was in charge of "C" Line at the time and he was a terrific watch commander until "The Prince", Lt. Vallerani took over.  Lt. Rhoads treated me with respect, but you could tell that he was in charge..Not much more can be said about this marvelous man who influenced me even though no direct command..

May the God of our fathers keep you in his hands for eternity,,,God Bless you Lt. Bob Roades, OCSD, Criminal division (Retired)
