Obituary for Frank DeVeronica

Frank DeVeronica, 89, of Minoa passed away at home on Wednesday with his family by his side after a brief illness.
Born in Italy on October 20, 1926, he was the son of Sante and Maria DiVeronica. He was a US Army veteran and served in World War II. Frank retired at age 58 from the Railroad where he was a brakeman.
Frank enjoyed playing cards, bowling, smoking cigars, cutting wood and riding his scooter.
He is predeceased by his wife Nancy; sons, David and Thomas DeVeronica; his parents; brothers, Paul, Vincent and Nat; sister, Rose; and son-in-law Thomas Mullen. He is survived by his three daughters, Janet Mullen, Karen (Norm) Abbott and Debra (Carl) Kreischer; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lacee) Mullen, Cara (Chris) Kirkwood, Joshua Abbott, Brian “Boo” Abbott, Amanda (Ian) Munroe and Benjamin Kreischer; great grandchildren, Brice Abbott and Reece and Cael Mullen; sister Gina Perry sister-in-law Pierina DeVeronica; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 9 to 11 am on Saturday February 20 at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Road, Minoa. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.
Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
