To Karen, Debbie and Janet,
We are all so very sorry to hear of Uncle Frank's passing. I have many fond memories of visiting him and your mom in Minoa to swim in the pool, ride around on the lawnmower and, of course, getting to go visit him down at the train yard. I still remember Uncle Frank working it out so Dad and I could ride around on the engines in the yard and I was even allowed to sit in the engineer's seat and throttle up the engine when we did. What a thrill that was for a kid, like myself, who loved trains and it's a memory which comes up in conversation occasionally to this day. Summertime brought cookouts by the pool, tours of all the sheds he built in the backyard and watching the fights on HBO in the family room while he smoked his pipe. Winter was all about the firewood and the cast-iron woodstove. He was one of those uncles who was like a big kid himself, which always made it extra-great to visit him.
Thinking of you and yours and much love to you all,
Douglass, Sarah, Isaac and Owen Bratt
