Obituary

Dorothy I. Tubbs, 101, passed away peacefully. She was born in Pulaski the daughter of the late Frederick and Nina Johnson.

Dorothy graduated from Beaux Art School of Beauty Culture in Syracuse in 1939. She married Donald in 1940. For many years they ran a dairy farm and made maple syrup in Orwell. Later they moved to Pulaski where Dorothy continued to volunteer in many community organizations.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, sewing, baking and gardening. She will be remembered for her blue eyes and bright smile.

Surviving are her daughters, Jean Beers, Linda Jenkins; son, Clifford (Martha) Tubbs; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 38 years Donald; four sisters and five brothers.

Services will be private.

We just want to send our condolences for the family of Dorothy Tubbs. Her picture is just the way that we remember her. How wonderful a person she was and how she always had a smile for you. Phyllis, Peggy, and Rosie Rowe ( daughters of Hunt and Berneice Rowe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to read this - Don and Dorothy were great friends of mom and dad - Harry & Dorothy Elkin. Her and mom were on the same floor at Springbrook. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
