Larry and I read with sadness the passing of Shirley, Mrs. Barber as we will always think of her. A card that I found says it all..."Hardest to lose is someone who really showed us how to live." We did not have a close relationship, but have never forgotten her for her class, her graciousness, and the children and grandchildren that we have been lucky enough to know. I personally have thought of her each time I passed her home and wondered how she was.

Hold one another close as you recount all those wonderful memories as she would want you to do. She was a gift.

Vickie, Martha and families:
My condolences to all of you for the passing of your mom. My sister and I were in the choir for a few years way back in the early '80s and your mom was, of course, our director - and what an awesome director she was! She loved that organ, was phenomenal, and we all loved her.
